I have a bit of an interest in all things nuclear, and this means that one of the websites that I read regularly is called ENE news. This is a mainly nuclear energy news site that reports different headlines and speeches etc that relate to the nuclear industry round the world. They do not offer their own opinion but merely reprint articles that have been published in other places. They also offer a great bounty of links to back up what they are reporting on. I could put forward hundreds of the links that they have published over the years and that would be great but it would turn this into an anti-nuclear blog which it is not. Here is a link to their website to an article that is well worth looking at. http://enenews.com/bbc-police-grabbed-people-movie-theatre-made-reactor-deal-burning-fuel-rods-tv-men-picked-streets-forced-battle-nuclear-meltdown-video
The links on this page offer some insight into how the nuclear industry operates around the world. The comments by the ex-minister from Britain are interesting in how deceptive the industry is right up to the top level of govt. The other side of this is the overwhelming power of the military – industrial complex. The reactors in Britain were promoted as part of a program called “Atoms for Peace” where reactors were only used to benefit humanity by generating power and not being used for destructive purposes. The ex-minister in his video interview states that they were actually just plutonium production facilities for the U.S. Military machine, which he did not know at the time as it was part of the massive disinformation campaign that the industry is constantly running.
Another great video is the film/documentary ‘nuclear Ginza’ which is an amazing film about the industry in Japan. Well worth the watch, I will let you check out the links that are in this page at ENE and also recommend the site in general if you have any interest in your long term health and need to know when to stop eating food from the north pacific region(years ago by my reckoning ),or just an interest like me in nuclear and how it may affect you. I will post the film Nuclear Ginza below for those who are interested in this alone.
